Take the A137 (main road to Manningtree) heading out of Ipswich. When you come to an mini roundabout just past a filling station by the Oyster Reach Travelinn take the first exit (left) onto the B1456 on the road signposted to Shotley.
Follow the A137 towards Ipswich. At the intersection with the A14 continue on the A137 down a hill past a ski slope on the right When you come to an mini roundabout by the Oyster Reach Travelinn take the second exit (right) onto the B1456 the road signposted to Shotley.
Follow the road B1456 for approx 4 Miles to Chelmondiston Village.
The Red Lion is situated on the main road on the right hand side.
